In February 2025, Marcus released his third hour special, "Marriage Is Major Surgery", which was executive produced by Ali Siddiq and is available on YouTube. This one-of-a-kind performance has been described as 'ideal for the married, the wanna be married, the used to be married and the wanna be married again'. The son of a preacher, Marcus' charismatic style of delivery is clean, captivating, funny and knowledgeable. He provides lots of laughter along with a guaranteed message on being a better you. His motto for his brand of comedy is "Laughter is good, but the Message is better!" Prior to his comedy career, Marcus was a professor at Texas Southern University.
